LCRVHC is a group of riders from a variety of disciplines united by a common love of horses. We enjoy riding whether on the trails or in the arena, meeting to socialize and learn, and volunteering our time to develop and maintain trails.

11/15/25 – CTRA Ride at Wadsworth Falls, Middletown. About a 2 hour ride, to the falls, up to the mansion, and around the park. If you want to know the park and you don’t know it, you should definitely come! Ride out 10:30. RSVP to Claudia Marcello (959) 236-7929. Donuts and coffee breakfast, bring your own lunch and a chair and we will eat together after the ride.

11/16/25 – LCRVHC Member Only Sue Davenport Memorial Ride Chatfield Hollow Chili Ride. Parking is at North Chestnut Hill cul de sac. Arrive early so you can be Ready to Ride at 11:00. Club will provide chili, drinks, plates, bowls, and utensils. Bring a chair and side or dessert to share if you wish. Elizabeth Prete has agreed to coordinate the food and RSVPs so text her at (203) 234-1488 and let her know if you are coming and what you plan to bring.

11/23/25 – Connecticut Morgan Turkey Trot Ride at Bluff Point State Park, Groton, registration at 9:00.  All horses must be on trail by 10:00. Registration form on Connecticut Morgan Horse Association website.

12/7/25 – LCRVHC MO Ride Soup Ride, Rough Draft Farm, 24 River Road, Clinton

1/1/26 – LCRVHC MO Annual Freeze Your Butt Ride at Hammonassett. Ride at 1:00. Bad weather moves to weekend of January 3–4. We usually get photographers!

January – Date and Venue to be determined. Annual LCRVHC/BPC Winter Party. Silent Auction. Details to come February TBD – Annual Pizza and Planning Meeting

Meetings are at the Fire Museum behind 21 Copse Road, Madison, unless otherwise specified. It is always fun to go other places. Consider hosting a meeting or social event at your home or farm.
